What I did not anticipate was just how complicated the process could
become or how important it would be to have a firm that took verification and
integrity as seriously as Victory Field Operations.
During my petition drive, VFO’s internal Fraud & Auditing team identified
signatures they believed were fraudulent or forged. Instead of ignoring the problem or
simply submitting everything that had been collected, they immediately told me what they
had found, removed every signature that failed their standards and developed a plan to
make sure we still collected more than enough legitimate signatures for me to
qualify.

was happening, what they were finding and exactly what they were doing about it. Most
importantly, they never lowered their standards simply because the deadline was
approaching. Their team kept working, kept collecting, kept reviewing and went above and
beyond to protect both my candidacy and the integrity of my filing.

qualify for the ballot — I overwhelmingly qualified with valid signatures.
Getting on the ballot in Detroit is not an easy process, and I knew going into it that
collecting enough valid signatures would be critical. What I did not anticipate was just

I’ll be honest — there were moments when the process was nerve-racking. But
VFO never hid the challenges from me. They were transparent about what was happening,
what they were finding and exactly what they were doing about it. Most importantly, they
never lowered their standards simply because the deadline was approaching. Their team
kept working, kept collecting, kept reviewing and went above and beyond to protect both
my candidacy and the integrity of my filing.
When election officials ultimately reviewed the petitions, signatures that VFO had
already identified internally as problematic were consistent with the types of signatures
officials were flagging during their review. That gave me tremendous confidence in the
auditing system VFO had built.
In the end, I didn’t simply qualify for the ballot — I overwhelmingly
qualified with valid signatures. In a race where ballot access became a major issue and
other candidates ultimately failed to qualify, VFO made sure I was protected.
Anyone can promise to collect signatures. VFO understood that their responsibility was
to make sure I had enough valid, legal signatures to actually get on the ballot. They
protected the integrity of the process, protected my candidacy and delivered the result
they promised.
